About Us:

BlackCountry is building Africa’s fundamentals of living — from real estate and interiors to farms, engineering, and automation. Our work is rooted in sustainability, innovation, and a deep commitment to improving lives. To deliver on this mission, we need a supply chain that is as visionary and resilient as the projects we create.

Role Overview:

The Head of Supply Chain will lead and optimise our end-to-end supply chain operations across all BlackCountry business units. This is a strategic role that requires a hands-on leader with the ability to design robust systems, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the seamless flow of goods, materials, and services to support our projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a group-wide supply chain strategy that aligns with BlackCountry’s business objectives.
  • Oversee procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution across multiple sectors including real estate, construction, agriculture, and manufacturing.
  • Identify, qualify, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best value while maintaining quality and sustainability standards.
  • Implement systems and processes that improve efficiency, transparency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with project managers, operations leads, and finance to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to deliver high performance.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in supply chain leadership roles, ideally across multiple industries.
  • Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain technology, ERP systems, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in African markets or other emerging economies is an advantage.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to shape and lead a critical function in a fast-growing, purpose-driven company.
  • A dynamic, collaborative, and innovation-focused work environment.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • The chance to contribute to projects that have lasting social and economic impact.
